The Marriage Covenant Agreement and Lawsuit

.

There was a marriage that took place at Mt Sinai between Yeshua and his people, the House of Jacob. The record of the marriage vows are the Ten commandments and when the people said “We will obey”, this was their “I do”. His bride immediately broke the marriage covenant at the golden calf incident. As a result, Yeshua had every right to divorce his bride and put her away. However, His heart was so broken over this that He was willing to lay down His life on the tree for her so that the marriage relationship could be restored. For the bride, His people, to be restored to Him, she has to REPENT and RETURN to the God of Israel and to following HIS Torah by the Holy Spirit.

Later, the prophets of Israel brought charges against the children of Israel that resulted in a covenant lawsuit. The charges had to do with how they were treating each other. The major complaint/charge was that the children of Israel were mistreating each other. This was the primary reason WHY both Northern and Southern kingdom were taken into captivity and evicted out of the land of Israel. They were not taking care of the orphan, the widow, and the fatherless; they had crooked and unjust weights and measures. They took advantage of each other.

We enter into the Kingdom of Heaven through Door 1 which is salvation. In order to do this, we MUST believe on Yeshua to be our Savior and Lord. However, there is MORE. AFTER we are saved (entered through Door #1), we must be FAITHFUL to Yeshua. For the ABUNDANT life, for the BEST that life has to offer (Chai) there is Door 2: Love your neighbor as yourself. By being faithful and obedient to Yeshua, we receive eternal spiritual rewards. The highest reward is to live with Yeshua forever as His Bride in the New Jerusalem.

These two major doors (levels) are summarized in 1 John 3:23.

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son, Yeshua HaMashiach, AND love one another, as He gave us commandment. 1 John 3:23

This is the peak and pinnacle of following Torah. Listen in as Eddie unpacks the “Marriage Covenant Agreement and Lawsuit”.
